Subject: news from the Luna Moth crew

Hello Martin;
      Well, it looks as if Luna Moth defeated the competition again this year. I had stiff competition from UK Sails and Haarstick carbon sails, but we sailed right past them all.
In the entire season, Luna Moth never had less than a third, with plenty of seconds and firsts !
Luna Moth finished up the Buffalo Sailing season as Fleet Champion, and will win "Boat of the Year" for the fourth time. It was close, after fourteen Wednesday night races and four multiple race regattas, there was only one point between first and second place. But the old "Lunny Moth" crew came through again. Was it the great sails, the skipper, the crew or the new GPS.....dammed If I know....but it all worked, and we kept the boat from breaking down in all kinds of weather. We sailed in light air drifters to one of those famous Buffalo storms with 32-35 knots and huge square waves, and we kept going.

Now I have to buy the crew dinner.....and they eat a lot!

Best wishes.....Joe Roetter
